Simpli homes
Simpli Homes is an online retailer that creates affordable, high quality furniture sold directly from their ecommerce website. They tasked me with redesigning their website, user experience and helping to future-proof their brand.
Oxford loyalty
The Oxford Hospitality Group is one of the largest and best-known hospitality corporations in Christchurch. They tasked Plato creative with designing a loyalty app that would give information, grant rewards and have users earning digital currency, which could be spent at their many locations.
Rubisco
Rubisco came to us after receiving a website build from a local agency that wasn't up to their standard. I set out to build them a website that made better use of their brand and told their story using interesting layouts. This website was built in Webflow using client-first development techniques.
Shore Construction came to us at Plato Creative looking to elevate their online presence. They are incredible architects focusing on beautifully built, abstract homes and buildings. They wanted their website to capture their elegance of design and make use of white space.

Kattsafe came to Plato Creative with a massive request. They had recently purchased three companies in the height-safety sector and wished to combine them all three into a single experience in combination with their rebrand. This meant putting well over one hundred highly-technical products into a single website.
We worked to create a design that was vibrant yet simple enough to navigate and use. It focuses heavily on content and information yet maintains its unique characteristics.

Having started out in the industry a short time ago, I needed to come up with a design to showcase completed projects and her growing skillset. I set out to make her a website that utilizes the power of Webflow interactions and has a clean, modern design.

MP Properties was looking for a website refresh that put emphasis on their high quality photography. They construct stunning homes and office properties but their previous website was not delivering this message.
I aimed to utilize their photography and a minimal layout to show off their high quality work. I created a website that is clean, sophisticated and usable.

Work on Climate is a volunteer based website that is fostering a community of professionals who work in their climate sector. It is designed for innovators of every aspect to get together in one central place to share information, post jobs, and access information on the sector.

While working at Plato Creative I was tasked with creating a new website for the agency. I set out to design a site that showcases that they are the largest agency on the South Island of New Zealand.
I focused on translating their new brand into a web-specific format and display the size and scale of the company, as well as the volume of work.

originally from the mountains of Canada I now call new Zealand my home. I travel the world working with agencies and clients whos vision aligns with my own.
When I’m not working I can usually be found mountain biking or training jiu jitsu. I stay as active as possible to counter balance the hours spent working at a computer. Work/life balance is a big factor in my life and where I choose to live.

I have 13+ years experience working for agencies designing digital products at a rapid pace. My attention to detail and my ability to work under pressure have benefited me greatly during this time. Over the years I have put together a solid list of skills and services that set me apart from the competition.
Recently I have completed several courses in Webflow development. I love the freedom it gives me as a designer to implement my vision and create projects from start to finish. It has greatly broadened my horizons as to what's possible in web, as the field changes so rapidly.

My UX and UI process focuses on understanding personas to meet user needs, ensuring seamless navigation and meaningful interactions. I work to craft a visual language that bring brands to life to captivate users.
No Code development
I use Webflow to develop future-proof and frictionless code that responds to any device. I use the client first system in order to deliver a best-in-class website that's fast, elegant and interactive.
Art Direction
I combine creative visuals and strategic thinking to create captivating digital experiences. from colours, typography and visual style to image treatment and layout, every element is carefully crafted to leave a lasting impression on users.
Illustration
As a contrast to the order-driven world of web design I express myself through art and illustration. I work for musicians and bands, apparel companies and breweries. I illustrate using procreate and illustrator.
